The Village Library.

In the tiny village of Marston Montgomery, they don’t have a shop, they don’t have a bus stop, they don’t have a postoffice anymore, the school is under threat, the village hall is an old army training shack, and the pub only just re-opened.

But what they do have is a library – in the old disused telephone box; nothing could be more middle england. You can leave books and take books all for free, the only rule is you must pass the book on. Each book has a sticker inside where you can go online at bookingcrossing.com and register its progress across the globe, or perhaps just across the street.
