Champagne and Awards at The Royal Television Society Awards

Champagne and awards at the Hallam table.

On the 20th of March in the back seat of a very full vehicle someone noted  “who ever thought this group of people, from our course would all ended up in a car together, in York?” After a night of celebration a now award winning Writer/Director, a Cameraman, two award winning tutors, and a Producer drove back from a successful Royal Television Society Student Awards. On our institution’s table 3 nominations in the Best Fiction category, including INERTIA the film I produced.

Kevin East and Beau Atherton

And most importantly congratulations to the team from ‘Porcelain Man’ for winning the Best Fiction category! Below is the trailer to this little gem of a film, beautifully shot and wonderfully narrated (what an accent!). I look forward to hearing you winning in London on the 25th of May – maybe see you there, if my flight is on time.
